Six Random Things About Myself
1. I took piano lessons for three years as a child.
2. I like earthtone colors.
3. I love to listen to old hymns - my favorite is "Be Thou My Vision."
4. I enjoy the outdoors, especially in the crisp, cool days of Fall.
5. My worship-style is "Quiet Reverence"- always evident by tears of Joy.
6. I have a soft spot for the elderly.
My Six Tag-ees
1. Dorothy Bowen Klass - a wonderful friend and fabulous singer who's voice is beautiful. She sang "All I Ask of You," from Phantom at our wedding.
2. Lynn - a wonderful friend who seems to be "just like me." Scary thought, huh?
We even share a "real" name. My middle name is Lynn! Now, that's scary! Ha! Ha!
3. Katrina - a great lady with an adventurer's spirit and love for the outdoors.
4. Debrah - a new friend who has a passion for missions and her Lord.
5. Mary - a wonderful lady (Shirley) who has chosen to honor her grandmother by using her name, (Mary) as her blogger name. She is a great encourager!
6. Christi - a great friend who has two wonderful children and a cat named Chester!
This has been so much fun!
Be Encouraged!

At least we have one thing in common. I hope you did better than I did. I'm referring to the piano lessons.
AliceE.
AliceE,
I was never really interested in playing the piano. Mama wanted her girls to play an instrument.
She always dreamed of playing the violin. We gave her a violin one Christmas, but she never took lessons. Both of my sister's girls took lessons and are very good. One of them played for several years at the Festival of Trees to benefit charity in Wilmington, NC.
I never could stand being inside for the long hours of practice!

Thank you my friend and Middle names... however, I go by Lynn my real name is Lynette. My Mother wanted a Lynn and My Dad had met a girl that looked like a china doll that was named Lynette. Then when my husband and I first got together he called me Lynnie and so his whole family calls me Lynmie. I probably should have saved that for a random. I will see what I come up with. Did you find a book? I made baby quilt yesterday. My Neice is having a baby. I just need to do the quilting on it and I think I have figured an easy pattern that won't take too long.
Loves for now,
Lynn
Hi Plant Lady
thank you for tagging me
The facts are the same only the names have been changed(I originally commented this AliceE. tagged me...)
Hope you have a great week-end.
Hi thank you for thinking of me...
I do not know how to link others on my blog...as you can tell my blog is a no frills type of blog...perhaps when the temps are a bit cooler - I will want to spend some time getting to know how to do all the cool things I see on other blogs...also I probably would've tag the same people as you so fer now I'll just share with you 6 things about me...
#1- I was born again January 31, 1986
#2- A few months ago I left the church I had attended for over 6 years. I am still leaning on the Lord to show me how to work through this.
#3- My heart wants to serve the persecuted church - I am not sure in what capacity - just following as the Lord leads me.
#4- I also have a burden on my heart for our nation to repent and return to serving God.
#5- Like others I also am experiencing a desert/wilderness...it seems like a long, long time but when I think about the 40 years wilderness experience well I guess it's not so long...and like them I confess that the whining and complaining I slip in and out of could be part responsible for what seems like a long time.
#6- Ugly but true I do not love others as I should...I am in prayer for the Lord to do a work in my heart...
Thank you so much for your encouragement both on your blog and your comments on the blogs of others...not only do I find encouragement from the words you leave on my blog but I am also encouraged by the comments you leave on the other blogs...
#6a...I sometimes go on and on and on...
Be Blessed
In His Love,
Debrah
I love your blog. You have a fresh, real approach. Keep it up. These comments are most interesting.
Now, I'm a new blogger. I didn't fully understand the instructions. Bare with my crude attempt to answer these.
O.K.I'll try to get this right.
1. Link to the person who tagged you.
http://hisways-isaiah558.blogspot.com/
2. Post the rules on your blog. Drop by any time, and be real and honest. But basic courtesy and kindness will be expected of all.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
a. I love people....I find almost everyone has something to teach me I could never have known without being with them.
b. I adore crafts...getting messy and making a mess is irrelevant.
c. I have to work on keeping diligent with my daily routines. I prefer brand new challenges, but I love life when I am disciplined in doing the routines on time.
d. I love mystery stories & in my sixties I would still love to catch the crooks at their deeds and protect the innocent.
e. I hope one day I can write...right.
f. I still feel like I'm really only 11 years old in the child part of me; but I have lived 64 years. Take me to the playground!!!
4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them.
5. Let each person know they've been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
